We have just raised the total level requirement of our skilling clan to 1800!

With a new skill coming out on Runescape soon, it made sense to raise the requirements to the clan, as well as keeping the aim of our small community to be for active skillers who work on all aspects of their account.

Immortal Phoenix Skilling and Events clan is aimed at quality Runescape players who are active in the Runescape community and have something to offer their fellow clan members. Our cc is not just for chatting, it’s to take part in community activities and actually do stuff on the game together!

Our membership is primarily 21+ years of age and we also have a high percentage of female members compared to other clans (almost 50%) - although we’re not a female Runecape clan, the girls are certainly the most active community members!

99 Mining 18th January 2010

Wooohooooooooooo!! Another 99 down! During the Immortal Phoenix combined RC and Mining contest, Moneybroker (currently Blondeamazon) and I got 99 mining with a couple of friends along for the level!

We managed to get over 3m mining exp at the living caverns (mining gold) in a week, so not too bad really! We also managed to tie the contest for January so we’re pretty happy with our efforts – here’s the signature made for it..

Only 5 more skills to get to 99! Shame they are all the sucky ones, haha.

99 Firemaking - 7th January 2010

Well it has to happen sooner or later LOL, on the 7th of January 2010 (6th in the USA), I got 99 Firemaking, did the emote once and put the cape on my cape rack in the house LOL

I’d like to congratulate Somer Shine / Summerangel for her great achievement of 99 Attack, Strength and Defence in one day! Grats Somer, it was a great party (and long overdue =P)!

We are now welcoming Runescape members 20 years of age or older to join our skilling and events clan. Our clan is for Runescape members only and we skill and kill in a community environment. Our members gain levels and have fun at the same time!

Our basic requirements are:

1. Total level = 1600+
2. Combat Level 100 (it must be 100 in f2p – that’s combat level without summoning – login to free play and check).
3. Age = 20 years or older. We do have younger members (teenage kids of current members) but we do not allow the CC to be overrun with teenagers.
4. Runescape members only – we do not hold free play events sorry.

To join Immortal Phoenix skilling clan – go to http://ipclan.rsblogscape.com and register – once we verify your name on the highscores or in game (add Nativeozzie, Moneybroker and Summerangel4 for verification), we’ll activate your forum account and you can post your application.

You may also sign up on the Runescape forums (Quick find: 92-93-976-59830247 ) but to fully participate (request events, vote on other members, be part of the community, enter contests etc) you’ll need to sign up on our community forums anyway so may as well skip the extra step.

As part of a bit of a “Blonde Joke” in Immortal Phoenix, many of us took on Blonde names for October – mine is currently Blonde Ozzie – suits me just fine LOL

I suspect all the display name changing will continue for some time – I’ll be changing again on November 2nd!

Yeah Tipp, if you read this, I’ve taken down your 99 fishing picture and all the congratulations. You no longer deserve it.

Immortal Phoenix hit the Blast Furnace minigame with some of our new recruits and regular members. There’s certainly a lot to think about in the minigame but we took it in stride! Whether peddling the bike for rapid agility exp, shoveling coke into the furnace for firemaking exp, pumping the bellows for strength, fixing the broken pipes for crafting or just actually smithing the damn thing – it’s a good fun minigame!
